Greater Lehigh Valley Plant Swap

Join us for the first Greater Lehigh Valley Plant Swap hosted by Sterner’s Stems in partnership with @the_unfurling_leaf and The Downtown Allentown Market!

Who? You! Come meet other local plant enthusiasts and connect with the plant loving community. This is a free event but registration is required.

What? A fun plant swap with a plant raffle every half hour! Sterner’s Stems will be open after the swap for shopping. The market will be open for food and drinks! On street metered parking is available. There is also paid parking in the surrounding lots. See below for swap rules.

Where? The Downtown Allentown Market

When? Saturday, June 10th 11am-1pm

11-11:30am Check-in, set-up and mingling

11:30-1pm Plant swapping

Plant raffle every half hour! 11:30am, 12pm, 12:30pm, and 1pm (must be present to win)

Plant lovers are invited to bring plants or cuttings to swap with others from the plant community. We welcome both common and rare houseplants

Each swapper will be given a section of table space to display their plants/cuttings. The first half hour will consist of set-up, mingling and looking around to see what everyone else brought! At 11:30am the swapping will begin and swappers are welcome to make trades with others. Both parties must agree on the swap. There will also be a “free” table for any plants/cuttings you wish to give away without swapping.

Rules:

*Must bring at least one plant/cutting in order to swap. Others are welcome to walk around :)

*No selling of plants or exchange of money is allowed

*Plants must be pest and disease free

*Raffle winners must be present in order to claim their prize

*Any plants that you bring and do not swap must be taken home with you.
