MCPHS University is located in Boston's Longwood Medical and Academic Area. The campus is conveniently close to subway and bus stops, so public transportation is a great choice. MCPHS University is also accessible by car.

PARKING/ DRIVING/ PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

PARKING: Free.

-Parking garage is located on Palace Road, a one-way street off Longwood Ave.

-When you turn down Palace Road, the parking garage will be the 2nd driveway on your left directly after the large loading door. They are very steep drives so easy to miss.

-Ring the buzzer at the “gate” and tell them you’ve come to attend the Greater Boston Society of Vascular Technologists Meeting.

-Once parked, take the elevator to the main floor and follow the signs to the registration tables.

DRIVING:

FROM THE NORTH AND LOGAN AIRPORT:

Take Route 1 South, I-93 South or (from Logan) the Sumner Tunnel. Take the Storrow Drive exit. Follow Storrow Drive West and take the left exit to ‘Kenmore Square/Fenway/1 South.’ Bear to the left on the exit ramp toward ‘Fenway/1 South,’ then immediately get in the right lane. Follow the sign for ‘Boylston Street/Outbound.’ Continue on Boylston Street to Brookline Avenue (go straight through the intersection with Exxon on your left). Continue on Brookline and take a left onto Longwood Avenue at the third set of traffic lights (after Beth Israel Deconness Medical Center).

FROM THE SOUTH AND CAPE COD:

Take I-95 North, Route 24 North, or Route 3 North to I-93 North (Southeast Expressway). Take exit 18 toward Massachusetts Avenue/Roxbury. Go straight up the ramp and at the second set of traffic lights turn left towards Massachusetts Avenue. At the next set of traffic lights, proceed straight onto Melnea Cass Boulevard. Follow Melnea Cass to the end and turn left onto Tremont Street. Immediately get into the right lane and turn right onto Ruggles Street (at the Boston Police Headquarters). At the fourth set of traffic lights turn left onto Huntington Avenue (crossing the trolley tracks). At the second set of traffic lights turn right onto Longwood Avenue.

From the Mass Turnpike (Route 90):

Take exit 22, Prudential Center/Copley Square. Bear left in tunnel toward the Prudential Center, which leads directly onto Huntington Avenue (Route 9). Continue on Huntington for approximately two miles and turn right onto Longwood Avenue.

From Route 9:

Follow Route 9 East through Brookline Village. Turn left onto Brookline Avenue (at the Gulf station). Continue on Brookline and turn right onto Longwood Avenue at the fifth set of traffic lights.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

The MBTA (better known as the "T") is the Boston area's public transportation authority. You'll find many options for travel should you choose to use the T: buses, trains, ferries and subways. Maps and schedules are available at www.mbta.com.

MBTA SUBWAY: GREEN LINE

Take the Heath Street "E" train to the Longwood Medical Area stop. Cross Huntington Avenue, walk toward Longwood Avenue to MCPHS University. Then turn right onto Palace Road. The entrance to the clinic will be on your left.

Take the Riverside "D" train to the Longwood stop. Walk up Chapel Street and take a left onto Longwood Avenue. Walk a few blocks and then take a left onto Palace Road. The clinic's entrance will be on your left.

MBTA SUBWAY: ORANGE LINE

Take the Orange Line to Ruggles Station. Take the 8 bus to Louis Pasteur/Longwood Avenue. Continue to walk down Longwood Avenue to MCPHS University. Take a left onto Palace Road.

MBTA BUS LINE: 47 BUS

Ride the bus from Central Square toward Broadway Station to the Louis Pasteur/Longwood stop. Take a left onto Longwood Avenue and walk two blocks.

MBTA BUS LINE: 66 BUS

Ride the bus from Harvard Square toward Dudley Station and get off at Brigham Circle. Walk down Huntington Avenue to Longwood Avenue and travel two blocks to 101 Palace Road.

MBTA BUS LINE: 60 BUS

Ride the bus from Chestnut Hill toward Kenmore Station to the Brookline/Longwood Avenue stop. Walk down Longwood Avenue toward The Children's Hospital. Take a left onto Palace Road.
