Join us for our 6th Annual Great Saw Mill River Cleanup!
This site is the "daylighting park" right in downtown Yonkers. Between Dock Street and Nepperhan Street across from the Train Station. We'll be cleaning "behind the fences" and in the river bed as well as doing some native plantings.
Site supervisor: Holly Malekian, Director of Development
Other sites available for registration, see all Groundwork events: Ann Street in Yonkers; Walsh Road & War Memorial Field in Yonkers; Hearst Street in Yonkers; Farragut Avenue in Hastings; Lawrence Street in Ardsley; and Woodlands Lake in Irvington.
Wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves and long pants (to protect from ticks and poison ivy), bring gloves if you have them and bring water. We'll have snacks.

When & Where
Groundwork Hudson Valley's Great Saw Mill River Cleanup
Groundwork Hudson Valley was established in 2000 in Yonkers to help renew our urban places: building trails, planting trees, restoring rivers, turning vacant lots into gardens, and creating vibrant public places to revitalize the area’s most economically challenged neighborhoods.
