The Great Lakes Cardiology Symposium is designed to present new developments in the areas of cardiac and vascular disease and encourage cross-discipline, cooperation and team management of these increasingly complex patients. We will introduce and increase exposure to the latest interventional techniques and technologies, as well as the latest care paradigms in interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease, heart failure, electrophysiology, and preventive cardiology-all in a convenient, local setting.
Intended for family practitioners, podiatrists, internists, and emergency department physicians as well as cardiologists who diagnose, treat and manage patients with cardiac and vascular disorders. It will also be of interest to fellows, residents and other allied health professionals.
Objectives: At the end of this course participants will be able to:

- Discuss new technologies for remote and virtual care and predictive analytics to improve care
- Describe and employ current approaches in preventive cardiology and screenings for cardiovascular disease
- Recognize inherited forms of structural heart disease and sudden death.
