The Great Basin Consortium is pleased to announce its 6th annual conference on February 21-23, 2017, at the University of Nevada, Reno. The objectives of the conference are to have participants learn about and contribute to implementation of the Integrated Rangeland Fire Management Strategy Actionable Science Plan. Plenary speakers will discuss the purpose and components of the strategy and the science plan, and breakout sessions will allow workshop participants to contribute ideas and steps for implementation of the science plan over the short term and the long term. Current research projects will be presented through poster sessions. Researchers, managers, and practitioners from all regions of the sagebrush biome are encouraged to attend.
