Event description

Description

Poetry performances featuring Brendan Walsh, Annik Adey-Babinski, & Cathleen Chambless to celebrate the release of Brendan Walsh's third book of poetry, Buddha vs. Bonobo (Sutra Press, 2017). Come enjoy three young South Florida poetic voices, grab a drink from the bar, and have some books signed to support local artists and the preservation of vital bonobo habitat. All humans and other great apes welcome--free and open to the public.

Author royalties from the sale of Buddha vs. Bonobo will be donated to Lola Ya Bonobo and the Bonobo Conservation Initiative, two organizations that work to preserve natural bonobo habitat and reintegrate captive bonobos into the wild.
