Great American Litter Pick Up for District 4 with Councilman Lan Diep!

In District 4, a place of immeasurable promise, a foe threatens to derail all progress. The Litter Bug!!! But even in these threatening times, community members and students will come together to slay this environmentally unsound villain. Join Councilman Lan Diep and his staff in vanquishing this litter to back from whence it came.

Registration begins at 8:00 AM and the event begins at 8:30 AM. **Please print and complete the registration form (link below) and bring it with you the day of the event**: http://sanjoseca.gov/DocumentCenter/View/40256
Students can earn community service hours by volunteering at the Great American Litter Pick-Up and the 3 high schools with the most attendees can win up $1,000 dollars, which will go towards the school they attend. Please register and help spread the word by sharing this event with your friends and family. This event is rain or shine. We'll beat The Litter Bug until 11:30am, followed by a celebration from 12-1pm at each of our event kickoff locations.
We're also encouraging a friendly competition between our esteemed neighborhood associations to see who really takes out the trash in D4.
Community service hours will be doled out. Litter sticks will be distributed. Pizza will be eaten. The Litter Bug will be slain.
Volunteers under 18 years of age must have a consent form (listed above) signed by a parent or guardian.
