10A Conclusion

After 12 successful years, we are extremely excited to return to the Outdoor Activity Center (OAC), a part of the Atlanta Children's Forest Network, for another campout. The OAC is a 26-acre urban nature preserve located just a few miles from downtown in the Richland Hills community of Southwest Atlanta.

All adults must be accompanied by at least 1 child. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please list the ages of children participating on the form.

Note: Meal tickets are included in the cost (dinner and continental breakfast).

Tents

We have a limited number of loaner tents available for families. Be sure to indicate this on the form. If you have your own tent, please bring it so that those who do not have a tent can participate.

Forms:  Please complete our virtual liability waiver form prior to arriving to campout to help speed up check in!

Additional Notes:  Please bring a refillable water bottle. No open fires, alcohol, fireworks, smoking or pets.

Your contributions allow us to continue to provide free and low cost programs to children in the Atlanta area from under-served communities. We truly value your contributions.

About the organizer

West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA) is a community-based, non-profit organization that is dedicated to growing a cleaner, greener, healthier, and more sustainable West Atlanta. WAWA represents low wealth and communities of color: those heavily inundated with environmental stressors, but often least represented at environmental decision-making tables. WAWA’s mission is to improve the quality of life in the West Atlanta Watershed by protecting, preserving and restoring our communities’ natural resources.  As stewards of our community, we work to achieve optimal community health through establishing a sustainable environment that allows all residents to live in harmony and balance with the built and natural environments.
