Join Delaware State Parks at Trap Pond State Park in Laurel, Delaware for a family friendly campout event! Registration closes on June 21, so start getting prepared to unplug and get outside!
Trap Pond State Park offers biking, boating, disc golf, fishing, hiking, horseshoes, picnicking, and volleyball among many other activities that are fun for the whole family or outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.
All campers are required to bring their own food, however we will be providing s'mores for campfires on Saturday night for all to enjoy.
Check-in will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 28th and continue for the entire day. Please check-out by 9:00 AM on Sunday, June 29th but feel free to enjoy the park for a second day if you wish.
Camping will be in the Cypress Point area of the park, a primitive site. We will provide bathrooms for you to use, but please be aware that there are no showers available.
Boat rentals will be available all day, both days for participants to take advantage of. There are also many hiking trails of different lengths for people of all ages and skill levels to enjoy. For a list of trails and descriptions, click here.

There are already scheduled programs at Trap Pond for the 28th and 29th. If you would like to attend, registration is required. The programs will fill up on a first-come, first-served basis so register as soon as you can! For a list of programs, click here. To register, call the Trap Pond Nature Center at (302) 875-5163. Please note there is an extra cost associated with these programs.
