St. Ignatius once wrote, "Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues; it is the source of all virtue.” "I will consider how all good things and gifts descend from above," he writes in the Fourth Week of the Spiritual Exercises, "from the Supreme and Infinite Power above...just as the rays come down from the sun.”
This retreat will be led by Fr Michael Hilbert, S.J. Using a variety of prayer forms and practices, we will reflect on and give thanks for God’s gifts to us (life, family, friends, faith, church, eternal life), appreciate the limitless quality of God’s love in our past, present and future and learn how to discover and be grateful for the graces and blessings in all things in our lives.
There will be time for private prayer and reflection and small group faith sharing. The retreat offers a time to pray together, learn learn together, get to know other parishioners, and deepen the faith commitment of the St. Ignatius community.
We encourage you to extend an invitation to your fellow parishioners.
