We will be kicking off the new legislative/advocacy year with a Grassroots Policy Forum sponsored by UUDAN. Progress springs from knowledge, and our Forum will include presentations by the ACLU’s Kathleen MacRae on Decarceration, Chief Magistrate Alan Davis on Bail Reform, and Professor Jeffrey Richardson on Economic Justice. Panel discussions featuring grass roots activists and break out sessions centered around specific issues will follow. Vegetarian lunch provided. Free and open to the public!
