Event description

Description

Students have found graphic organizers invaluable in understanding the design, pedagogy and learning outcomes of a lesson, unit or course. A graphic syllabus is a one-page handout that you can create to complement your traditional syllabus. The graphic consists of a flow chart, diagram, or graphic organizer of the topic organization of a course and often the main assignments and assessment measures. Many teachers find these to be valuable tools because students can see how concepts & skills fit together and flow through the semester. Participants should be comfortable using PPT and should bring a syllabus & laptop to the workshop. You will leave with a graphic organizer.
