Learn to use Inkscape for making flyers and logos for your organization

About this Event

Are you an organizer who needs custom graphics for your cause? Do you feel limited by online platforms like Canva? Does your social media feed look like 10 different people have been making your flyers? Maybe it's time for you to take charge of your organization's visual language!

Join Anyun from Ohio Voice as they take you through the basics of using the powerful yet free software known as Inkscape! During this Lunch & Learn, Anyun will walk you through the basics of making flyers, logos, and style guides. You will learn how to pick colors, choose and use iconography, and pump out high quality and consistent graphics for your organization.

It is highly recommended that you download and install Inkscape before attending this event! Visit this link to get the free software: https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.0.1/

Trainer: Anyun (they/them) manages social media and websites for Ohio Voice and its affiliates. A big part of that job is making graphics, which is a skill they have developed from past jobs in the public health world as an educator, data analyst, and researcher. These jobs have all needed the ability to convey complex ideas as simply as possible. As organizers, we have to distill complex theories, political impacts, and social issues into digestible packets, and that is what Anyun hopes to help with through this workshop.
