This class is unique as it will you to work on a real world project. This project will allow you to directly apply your new skills: You're planning to write a book or you have written a book. You have a publisher. You have navigated the publishers requirements for interior lay out. But you don't have the book cover with the pizzazz to snag your audience.

For beginning or experienced designers, this InDesign class will teach you the basics.

At the end of this class, participants will be able to:

  • work with layers,
  • blending layers,
  • applying special effects to create a simple book cover with impact.

Adobe InDesign is a publishing application to produce publications for web, print and digital. It is used to create brochures, catalogs, eBooks, apps and more. It closely integrates with Photoshop and Illustrator to incorporate graphics from each application.
