Grape Expectations: Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon
Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (EDT)
Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon are related, as the Sauvignon part of their names suggests. In fact, if you cross Sauvignon Blanc with Cabernet Franc, the result is Cabernet Sauvignon. Today, the relationship is more like siblings, and Cabernet is seemingly the bigger, older one.
In this class, we'll taste a world range of SB and Cab so we can taste how they are the same across the planet, but also how they are different. Get ready to go deep into Bordeaux territory.
Bread, cheese, olives, meats, antipasto served with class.
