Grants & Proposal Writing
This informative workshop is designed to help entrepreneurs and non-profit leaders develop grant and business proposals that get funded. You will learn the component parts of a proposal, the differences and commonalities between grants and proposals, how to develop a needs assessment, creating a budget, and cost effective ways to conduct an evaluation.
The session will be facilitated by Kenya Asli and William Honablew, Jr. Kenya has served in a number of capacities and in each one has helped her employers and clients develop internal capacity that led to increases in funding. She has a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (Magna Cum Laude) and a Juris Doctorate degree in Law. She is currently the Principal Member of aHa! Business Solutions, LLC. William is the Director of the Raymond V. Haysbert, Sr. Center for Entrepreneurship. He has served as a grant writer and reviewer. He has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and a Juris Doctorate in Law.
