Event Details

Join us on October 6, 2011 at 1 p.m. ET for The Foundation Review (TFR) webinar, Grantmaking from the Head and Heart.

Based on the recent TFR article, “The Best of the Humanistic and Technocratic: Why the Most Effective Work in Philanthropy Requires Balance,” author Paul Connolly, Senior Partner and Chief Client Services Officer at TCC Group will lead a thoughtful presentation contrasting the technocratic approach to philanthropy – grounded in strategy and evaluation – with the humanistic approach – based on intuition and driven by compassion.

Connolly gives real-life examples with practical advice on how grantmakers can stay in balance.

The webinar will be moderated by Teri Behrens, Editor in Chief of The Foundation Review with reflections and perspectives from an all-star panel:

  • Paul Brest, President, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation,
  • Carol Goss, President and CEO, The Skillman Foundation, and
  • Gayle Williams, Executive Director, Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation.

This is an event not to be missed!

Free for The Foundation Review subscribers.

$25 for non-subscribers.

Free for Philanthropy New York members.
