Grant Writing Workshop
Finding a grant is the easy part. Completing a grant application and writing a proposal can be very frustrating and time consuming. However, in this workshop you will learn how to find a grant and complete a grant application, proposal, budget and budget narrative. We will learn where to find data and statistics to support your proposal and how to collaborate with local government officials and other community based organizations for support. In this workshop we will work in 2-3 person teams. Each team will be given a grant in which all members can actually apply. You will draft a proposal, and set up a review panel to grade each proposal.
This workshop will benefit participants with little or no experience in grant writing and will help seasoned grant-writers improve their writing skills as well.
