Description

Course Description:

Whether you’re new to grant writing or needing a refresher on proposal development in your Tribal Organization this workshop is for you. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic approaches to develop a winning proposal. Learning how to develop your project team, understanding the solicitations and scoring criteria, and determining your project goals and objectives are all important aspects to proposal development. As a tribal organization in a highly competitive funding world, you can’t afford to make mistakes when preparing your proposal. Understanding a targeted approach in proposal development can make a difference to your tribe and help your grant team bring in additional funding for programs and activities.

Plus, we’ll review an award-winning proposal, that will help you take what you’ve learned and put it into a real tribal approach; as well as learn how to navigate grants.gov and other funding websites to find funding opportunities for your tribal projects. Get ready to win that grant!
