A Benefit For Catskill Area Hospice
featuring The Driftwoods and more!
Saturday, April 20th
Doors 6pm / Show 7pm / $20 Adv / $25 door

The Grand Oneonta Opry will feature the band, The Driftwoods, as well as an all star cast of area musicians. You can read about all of the performers below:

The Driftwoods:
A long time tradition of country music dating back to the early 1960’s. The latest incarnation is comprised of (lead vocalist/acoustic guitar) Al Hotaling Jr., (lead guitar, vocalist) John Thompson, (bass,vocals) Jody Taylor, (pedal steel guitar) John DeMaille, (piano/keyboards) Rob Roman and (drums) Ted Potrikus.

Jeff Wood:
For the past 10 years this Delaware County native has owned and operated Northernstar Productions Karaoke & DJ Service with his wife Wendy. Jeff is known for his pure country sound and his ability to "tell the story". Highlights include competing in Oneonta's Ultimate Idol competitions and opening shows for Charlie Pride, Randy Travis, T.G. Sheppard and Ricky VanShelton.

Darlene DeMaille:
Darlene is the winner of the Female Country Vocalist Award two years in a row from the Long Island Country Music Assoc. Darlene has shared the stage with Merle Haggard, George Jones and Jack Greene. She currently performs vocals and plays bass guitar with the band Country Express.

Terri Whitney:
Terri has been singing since her early childhood in church choir and school chorus. In 1998, Terri joined Country Express, a local popular country band, as their female lead singer. Terri is also one of the sock hop singers who sing for local sock hops raising money for charitable organizations.

Tracie Coleman:
Tracie is currently performing with country party band LAZY II, a spin-off of the popular band LAZY T (the band that turned Nashville down twice). She had a national release impacting over 2500 radio stations, making Music Row magazine's new music reviews. Tracie has done solo performances in Walt Disney World and numerous country festivals PLUS she has 20 years in local radio with WSRK / WDOS.

Rylee Lum:
12 year old Rylee Lum is a singer/songwriter from Gilbertsville, NY. He learned to play guitar at the early age of 8. Rylee is now the lead singer and guitarist of his own band. He has also recorded and released a 5 song EP that he and his dad wrote together while milking cows on the family farm. Rylee was the 2018 New York State Country Hall of Fame Horizon award recipient.

Rick French:
Rick sings lead, harmony vocals and plays guitars in the band Sundown. He started Sundown 18 yrs ago with family members and still is a family band today. Rick has been in the music industry playing and singing for almost 35 yrs with other popular bands as well. Music has always been a huge part of Rick’s life. Sundown has opened for a number of Nashville artists.

Lori French:
Lori is part of the Country Duo with her husband, Rick French, and she also performs in the band SUNDOWN out of Norwich, NY since 2002. Lori sings lead and harmony vocals, as well as plays the keyboard and harmonica. Originally from Sidney Center, she has performed locally since the age of 6 and has been in several popular bands over the years.
