Event description
OSHA Grain Bin Emergency Hands On Training

About this Event

Agriculture operations are inherently dangerous. Avoiding accidents altogether, and surviving one should it occur, require training. For these reasons, Aurora Cooperative, in partnership with Oklahoma State University, are offering grain bin emergency awareness training, and hands on grain bin rescue operation training. The course is designed to satisfy OSHA certification qualifications. The skills and knowledge from the course may very well save the lives of emergency responders, producers and workers.

Hands on Training:

This 8-hour course is designed to enable you to evaluate hazards, begin initial actions in the event of an emergency, initiate the appropriate communication to obtain necessary resources from emergency personal.

The workshops are free, but space is limited to 30 a session. All participants must complete the classroom workshop to participate in hands on training.
