The Background to GLAs: how Skills Development Scotland (SDS) has been engaging with industry, universities and colleges in recent years to develop this new addition to the apprenticeship family, and the University’s involvement as a provider of Graduate Level Apprenticeships (GLAs)
The UWS Story so far: how the School of Engineering and Computing are developing two exciting new work-based learning programmes
The Future: the potential opportunities for other Schools to become involved as GLAs are set to expand
Support for you and your School: how Enterprise and Employer Engagement can support Schools as further competitive funding processes are put out to tender
After participating in a competitive process, UWS was awarded funding of over £2 million from SDS to design and deliver GLA programmes in Software Development and Engineering Design and Manufacture, which the School of Engineering and Computing are launching in September 2017.
