History is full of divergent views on God, faith, spirituality, and the gospel. With every generation, The Christian Church has had to rise up against teachings and ideologies that presented as truth but were contrary to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our generation is no different. Some of the popular beliefs in our current culture that have infiltrated the church include universalism, the prosperity gospel and the new age movement to name a few. All these false doctrines believe that Scripture is simply a truth that changes with the times.
