We talk as though we understand the word grace. But do we REALLY understand it?
In 2010, Tara and Todd lost their 13 year old daughter, Taylor. With much tears, they decided to donate her heart to a girl who was in desperate need. Tara had one request – to hear the heart of their daughter. After the transplant, the parents listened to Taylor's heart beat once again. Even though her heart now lived in a different body, the heart was still the heart of their child. God, our Father, is the same way. Whenever He hears your heart beat, He hears the still-beating heart of His Son. Grace is the same way. Whenever grace happens, we receive not a compliment from God, but a new heart.
In this 7 week course, we will look deeply at the following questions:
- Have you been changed by grace?
- Have you been shaped and molded by grace?
- Have you been emboldened by grace?
- Have you be softened by grace?
- Have you been snatched by the nape of your neck and shaken to your senses by grace?
If you fear that you have taken too many advantages of God’s kindness and fear that His kindness account is running out, or if you have any regrets and feel discouraged more than you delight and find rest in God, or most of all, if you wonder if God can do something with your messed up life, then grace is what you need.
Please join us as we look at the true meaning of God’s grace. (For those who can't attend in person, Google Hangouts will be provided)

West Loop Church
Our church began having Sunday Worship Services at West Loop, UIC area, on January 4th, 2008. Our prayer is that we may be a gospel church and a gospel community, a church where the gospel is preached and proclaimed, and as a result the gospel is lived out in every area of our lives and expression as a Christian.
