About this event
As we continue to build up Black businesses and Black entrepreneurial culture in Grand Rapids and beyond. We are excited to announce our next development series the GRABB Breakfast. GRABB Breakfasts is a morning Chalk Talk and Development series for dreamers, makers, innovators, and current/aspiring business owners.
This series not only brings together our city’s Black talent but also creates an open space to connect and build relationships.GRABB Breakfasts are intended to bring together Entrepreneurs & Intrapreneurs who are driven by passion, purpose and progress, confident that they will inspire one another, and inspire change in neighborhoods, communities and cities.Every event includes networking time before and after a Chalk Talk.
This is a great opportunity to meet with business folks across various industries and sectors who are willing to share and learn from ocanother. Each event include a 30 minute talk w/Q & A plus breakfast! Anyone can attend. Space limited!
Chalk Talk Presenter: Jovan Naves of Bare All Clothing and BAC Print
Jovan Naves is a husband, father, and business owner. He was born and raised in Grand Rapids and graduated from East Kentwood. Jovan furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design from Wayne State University. While at Wayne State, Jovan started the clothing line Bare All Clothing and grew it from there. After graduating, he apprenticed at a Detroit-based screen printing studio and in 2016 and moved back to Grand Rapids to open his own screen printing company (BAC Print).
