Event description

Description

In collaboration with UC San Diego Alumni and Graduate Division, and in celebration of the School of Global Policy and Strategy's (GPS's) 30th Anniversary, we have launched a monthly webinar series titled "Designing Policy for a Global Impact." The series will explore the research findings of GPS faculty, alumni and students as they strive to create informed policy choices across the globe.

Each webinar will take a closer look at a topic currently under discussion in the public domain. The webinar format allows us to reach across the continents and engage an audience far beyond the shores of San Diego – perfect for alumni interested in staying up to date on the latest research coming out of GPS.

Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m. (PDT). Our first webinar, pulled from the policy concentration of energy, environment and health, will focus on global health.

  • Joshua Graff Zivin, professor of economics, GPS
  • Gordon McCord, assistant teaching professor of economics, GPS
  • Emily Foecke Munden, GPS alumna and associate fellow with the CSIS Global Health Policy Center
  • Carmen Sainz-Villalba, Master of Public Policy 2019 candidate, GPS

Future webinars will be pulled from policy topics which can be found here.
