GPNP Public Policy Committee Meeting
Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM (EST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
For all 500 of you who attended Friday’s GPNP Annual Meeting, thank you! The discussion was provocative, affirming, and it revealed that we have very important work to do!
As GPNP Executive Director Samantha Balbier stated in her opening remarks,
In our voter engagement program,
4500 people were engaged by less than 3% of the GPNP membership.
That is a ratio of 246 people to 1 GPNP member
Imagine the possibilities.
Remember, our values guide us in our work.
We value service to those who do not have the strength; education for a strong society for ALL people, safe communities and access to the arts for ALL people, healthcare for ALL people, clean air and water and jobs for ALL people; and food, clothing and shelter for all people in need.
These needs do not stop at the county line.
We must work across this region like we have never done before.
Get involved on December 13th to develop a plan that fully actualizes the potential of the GPNP network and the nonprofit sector in southwestern Pennsylvania. All are welcome.
