Governors Island Hard Hat Tour

OHNY members-only

Join openhousenewyork and the Trust for Governor's Island on a special hardhat tour for OHNY members. Walk though the construction site and learn about the experience of collaborating on the design of the new park by West 8, directly from a member of the Trust for Governors Island or Design Team. Beginning at Soisson’s Landing by the ferry docks and concluding on the new viewing balcony, this tour will allow visitors to experience new views and landscape of the Island. Don’t miss this opportunity to go behind the fences to view this extraordinary transformation first hand!

Free ferry service from Battery Marine Building provided. Please plan on arriving by 5:50pm for check-in as the ferry leaves promptly at 6:15pm. Hard hats will be provided and closed-toed shoes are required.
