Did you know that chocolate comes from a plant? Or that dark chocolate should not taste bitter? Or that depending on where the cocoa is grown it can have over 300 different flavor notes?

Join us for a guided craft chocolate tasting with chocolate sommelier and international chocolate judge Karla Schade of Opening Chocolate. Learn the answers to those questions and so much more about craft chocolate as we taste a selection of luxury craft chocolate brands.During this tasting, you will sample delicious chocolate from chocolate makers across the world (and some from right here in Utah) as you learn where chocolate comes from and the differences between craft chocolate and mass-marketed chocolate. As we explore the flavors you will have the opportunity to develop your palate, explore new tastes, and enjoy a surprise pairing, especially for spring, at the end. You might just find your new favorite chocolate bar! 

Tickets are very limited and can be purchased on Eventbrite or at the Lemon and Sage store in Springville. Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event.The last day to purchase tickets is Friday, May 20, 2022.This event is appropriate for those 16 years of age and older.
