Three Day Training - 20 CE Hours

•Deepen your understanding of Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

•Expand your strategies and interventions with your couples.

•Practice using Assessments and Interventions in group role-plays.

•View demonstration films and participate in extensive discussions as you learn the Gottman Method.

•Become skilled in using our Level 2 Clinical Manual including revised Gottman Core Assessments and more than 50 Gottman Interventions.

•Assess a couple’s “Friendship Profile”, “Conflict Profile”, and “Shared Meanings Profile”.

•Develop interventions that your couples can use as antidotes to the “Four Horsemen”.

•Help couples to soothe physiological flooding.

•Apply six modes of changing the “Attack/Defend System in a couple’s interactions.

•And more, including a 300-page Level 2 Clinical Manual

•Completion of the second step in becoming a Certified Gottman Therapist - Participants may earn 20 CE’s (for a small additional fee).

All workshop handouts and materials will be provided and included with the registration fee.

Snack and beverages will be provided throughout the three day training. Lunch will not be provided.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel 3 weeks prior to a training, a full refund minus a $50 processing fee will be given. Within 3 weeks of the training, your fee can be applied for attending a future workshop hosted by City Church within one year of your cancellation.

Continuing Education Units - CE’s

As not everyone needs to receive them, CE’s are available on an optional basis for an additional fee, payable at the conclusion of each training. You will have the opportunity to pay for 20 CE’s once you complete the training. Information for how to obtain CE’s will be provided at the training.
