Event Information
Description
In-person coach training is required for ALL coaches. Training covers Season-Specific Information in the first hour, followed by standard Girls on the Run “National Coach Training.” The total duration is 5 hours. Online pre-work will be sent out in mid-January. Please complete these modules to maximize the benefit of in-person training!
NEW Coaches must attend the full duration. RETURNING Coaches must attend the first hour.
Food & Drink will be provided. Please dress comfortably and come ready to move!
**ATTENTION Head & Assistant Coaches: All Head Coaches and at least one Assistant Coach must be certified by Sunday, February 10th. If you do not hold current CPR (AED) & First Aid certification by the February 10th deadline, you cannot serve as a Spring 2019 Coach. Not certified? Find resources here. Please email a photo of current certs to Kasha prior to training.
Remember to get your Background Check! GOTR requires ALL volunteers to have a background check within the past 24 months. If you have a current background check, please email a copy to Kasha. If not, complete your background check with the following information (cost is $7.70):
