The Hill Church and Del Cerro Baptist Church are co-hosting a conference to serve married couples and parents as we aim to grow in gospel-centered parenting and marriages.
Dr. Tate Cockrell is the Director of DMin & EdD Studies and Associate Professor of Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Counseling Minister at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville, NC. He recently served the 10,000 member Summit Church in Durham, NC as Associate Pastor of Counseling over Recovery Group Ministries where he helped to launch G4 Support & Recovery Groups.
Dr. Cockrell will be teaching 5 sessions on biblical, gospel-centered marriage and parenting:
- 7 Pillars of a Biblical Marriage
- Marriage, Personality Differences, and the Gospel
- Healthy Marriage - Healthy Parenting
- Parental Transitions from Childhood through the Teen Years
- Effective Discipline Strategies for Parents
