Description
Turn your nonprofit's data into something useful!
With Google Fusion tables and Google Maps you can EASILY create maps powered by your nonprofits data.
Did you know you can use public data from the US Census Bureau and others to "mash up" your data with county boundary lines, transit maps and household demographic data?
And it's free and easy with Google Fusion Tables! If you can use a spreadsheet, you can make your nonprofit's data into something useful!
Jenn Taylor from 501 Partners will teach you how to put your reports on a map and add compelling visual information to your next board meeting, grant report, or staff meeting. You can even add the information to your web site.
We'll help you get hands on with Google Fusion Tables. Bring a laptop to follow along and we'll give you some sample data to get started with.
We'll map an organization's membership by county and overall giving together. You'll leave with the instructions and the example data set to get you started.
