Do you work for a nonprofit in the Bay Area? Are you aware of how Google for Nonprofits can benefit your nonprofit organization? Would you like to better understand how Google Apps can be utilized throughout your organization to increase productivity and efficiency of work?

Join HandsOn Tech and Google for an afternoon training on Google Apps for Nonprofits. The HandsOn Team will lead an introduction to the Google For Nonprofits Suite, followed by an overview of Google Apps: Calendar, Spreadsheets, Forms and Google+. Nonprofit staff will be informed of ways in which they can incorporate Google Apps into their work, and then be given the chance to use the different products by working on activities designed by HandsOn Tech and Google employees. The intent of this training is to give nonprofit staff hands-on experience with the Google products most relevant to their organization. The goal of this training is for attendees to leave with a clear understanding of at least one Google App, and how its use can build their nonprofit’s service capacity.

The first half of the training will include presentations to give attendees an overview of the different apps. The second half of the training, attendees will be broken up into groups in order to utilize different Apps to complete activities based off of real-life projects that could be completed in a nonprofit environment.

Take advantage of a cost-free technology training that will allow for both hands-on experience with the product and the opportunity to have your questions answered by experts.

It is our intent that attendees leave the training with:

  • A solid understanding of at least one Google App, and how they can incorporate it within their organizaiton
  • Ideas of how Google Apps can be ultilized within their organizaiton
  • An understanding of how to sign-up for Google For Nonprofits, and what the suite offers 501c3 organizaitons
