Google for Nonprofits is a suite of tools for nonprofits wanting to grow their organization using online channels of engagement. While most companies are required to pay for these features, nonprofits have access to free versions of these same Google products which include Google Apps, YouTube for Nonprofits, Google AdWords Grant, and their smart phone online giving app, One Today. While large organizations like Kiva, charitywater, and UNICEF have used these Google tools to grow their organizations, smaller nonprofits such as local historical societies and house museums can find similar success for themselves.
In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn:
- the basic capabilities and benefits of each tool for historical societies and house museums
- tactics for how such organizations can use these tools for engagement & revenue generation
- the procedures required to apply and be approved by Google as a nonprofit organization
- familiarization with how to set these tools up for use by your organization
After participating in this workshop, attendees will be able to use the information to set up their organization and immediately take advantage of these Google tools using the suggested tactics.
All attendee will be provided with a copy of the workshop presentation and help materials as well as an opportunity to schedule a future, one-on-one follow-up session with the presenters.
*Fee covers up to 3 individuals from your organization.
