There’s no better way to celebrate Independence Day weekend than at America’s Favorite Car Show! Join us for one of the most popular Goodguys parties of the year at the 31st Speedway Motors Heartland Nationals presented by BASF. This “Mid-Summer Classic” showcases 1997 & older hot rods, customs, muscle cars, trucks, and classics throughout the historic Iowa State Fairgrounds. You won’t want to miss the Saturday night 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza, Swap Meet, Cars 4 Sale Corral, Vendor Midway, FREE Kids Zone including a Model Car Show, Live Entertainment, Goodgals Gallery, Nitro Thunderfest Vintage Dragster Exhibition, Extreme RC Racing, Goodguys AutoCross timed racing competition featuring the Speedway Motors “Duel in Des Moines” Shootout— and so much more! Cruise in on Sunday morning for our All American Sunday celebration where we open up to late model American made or powered cars featuring an All American Sunday AutoCross Shootout.
