Good Vibes and Peace Signs Stained Glass Sun Catcher Workshop

Join Chelsea Brewer of Brewer & Marr Glassworks for an evening of creating stained glass Peace Signs at Art From Scrap You’ll get to choose from a variety of colorful glass for your own color combo and be guided through the basics of the copper foil stained glass method to produce a beautiful peace sign shaped sun catcher! Walk away with the knowledge & appreciation of the stained glass craft and a beautiful art piece - handmade by you! - to display in your home, office, etc.

The workshop will be equipped with:

• Peace sign template
• Colorful glass
• Copper foil & burnishing tools
• All supplies required for assembly
• Choice of finish: Silver, Copper, or Black Patina
• Ticket includes your first glass of wine!

PLEASE NOTE:

Be prepared to get your hands dirty! Making stained glass sun catcher's is a several stepped process, a lot of fun, and can be dangerous at times. We will be handling sharp objects, HOT irons to liquify solder containing different alloy metals, as well as various chemicals. Splatter happens! For your protection aprons, oven mitts, latex gloves, respirators, goggles, & first aid kit will be provided. Due to the nature of the craft, expecting mothers are advised to participate at their own risk.

MUST BE 18+ YEARS OLD TO PARTICIPATE:

This workshop is best suited for humans 18 and up. A standard Release of Liability waiver will be provided and must be signed by the participant at the beginning of the class.
