Event description

Description

CONFIDENCE. LEADERSHIP. CREATIVITY. COMEDY.
It's No Joke.

Join Groundling alum Holly Mandel for an entertaining exploration of the origins and implications of "the good girl"...and what lies beyond her.

This is for men & women of any field and background. If you won't be available, please pass it along to someone that comes to mind. If you've seen it you are most welcome to come again - the presentation is always changing and expanding.

Ladies - if you haven’t been formally introduced to the GOOD GIRL, you’ll want to do that--nowish. Until you learn how she operates in us, what she wants for us, and most importantly, what she has been inhibiting in us, you’ve probably been obeying her for a very long time.

She wants you to get everything PERFECT, she wants you to always be RIGHT, always be LIKED, never upset anyone. You are rewarded by following the rules, by being GOOD. She commands by SHOULDS. She tells you you’re being TOO this or TOO that. She watches your every move, always there editing, critiquing, undermining you. She has been wired to MISTRUST other women. She wants to be the THE ONE. She craves AFFIRMATION constantly from those in charge since SHE has no authentic power, she must manipulate to get it.

Guys - you ought to know about this as well as it effects you directly too. In ways you may not know.
