Event description

Description

On Friday August 9 from 10-2:30, you can join us to look at the many options available to you now or when you graduate high school. What do you want to accomplish? What do you need to do to make that happen? Explore what your future might look like with the right tools for success! This workshop is for young adults ages 14-21 with developmental disabilities in Buchanan County. Explore what a G.O.O.D. day(Goals, Opportunities, Options and Decisions) looks like for you now and in the future. Through games and activities, we will focus on charting a course to a good life after high school. See how these concepts along with self-determination can be used every day.

Join us for an opportunity to meet new friends and maybe see some you already know!

Lunch will be provided at no cost. Parents, guardians and personal assistants are asked not to attend unless medically necessary, but are encouraged to attend the graduation ceremony at 2:00. Register today - space is limited!
