About this event

Good Children make Great Theatre.

Childhood best friends Joe Hegyes and Andrew Muscarella banter about their shared closeted upbringing on Lawng Island every week on Good Children. The podcast is a high-kicking dance down memory lane, sprinkled with the nostalgia and pop culture of the late 2000s and early 2010s. They cover both the universal and the personal: From voting for their beloved "American Idol" contestants, to analyzing each other’s yearbook messages.

On the podcast, Joe and Andrew discuss their own embarrassing moments, favorite memories and reflections from that time, now as young adults living together in Brooklyn. Good Children has amassed tens of thousands of listeners by way of streaming, YouTube and TikTok since its launch last May.

On stage, the dynamic duo welcomes their audience to become a part of the show. Featuring musical numbers, comedic skits, and vulnerable conversation, Good Children Live gives you the chance to grow up all over again.

ABOUT JOE HEGYES

Joe is an online creator with over 110 thousand followers on TikTok who come to him for life advice, media suggestions, and witchy impersonations. He’s a screenwriter, an actor, and a director. Quick to judge, slow to apologize, and staunch in his beliefs, Joe often finds himself the Shrek to Andrew’s Donkey.

ABOUT ANDREW MUSCARELLA

Andrew is a perpetual optimist, a fitness personality, and a natural-born entertainer. Andrew is a screenwriter, an actor, a singer, and a dancer (he also plays the bagpipes). Always looking on the bright side- perhaps to a fault, Andrew happily describes himself as the Patrick to Joe’s SpongeBob.
