Event description
Learn what the best grantwriters know so that you bring your ‘A’ game to this vital area of fund development.

About this Event

Grantwriting is a high-stakes game. This participatory workshop looks at the tactics that underlie strong proposals. We will consider sections of real proposals, assume the vantage point of reviewers through role play, and rewrite them together. Participants will come away with tools and tips for organizing effective cross-departmental grants teams. In addition, we will study emerging issues and concerns in the foundation world.

This workshop is intended for grants professionals as well as program managers and executive directors who initiate and contribute to proposals.

Topics include:

  • Organizational positioning and communication
  • Foundation trends and perspectives
  • Program planning and team organization
