Event description

Description

Connect with your consciousness

Experience deep relaxation and therapeutic healing with Gong Meditation™ and the hypnotic coo of the handpan.

The vibration of a gong is a powerful method for reducing stress. Known as a Gong Bath, the gong creates an ocean of sound that is profoundly relaxing. Typically, your heart rate slows, blood pressure drops, and your breath returns to its natural rhythm. The gong induces a holistic resonance in your body and a spontaneous meditative state in your mind, resulting in a sense of expanded awareness and wholeness.

Join Suraya Sam, who has trained under Martha Collard of Red Doors, together with Jens Ringefelt on the handpans for a depthful inner journey. It will be an intimate gathering of like-minded souls, in a safe space designed to help you to slow down and journey inwards.

About the facilitator

Suraya is an indigo child that believes in the ability to heal oneself and others using ones own energy. This knowledge was passed down to her from three generations of healers in her family. Her self-realization came in her early teens, guided by her mother who practices Sufism and Inca Mythology in The Sacred Valley of Peru. Her inspiration drives from her fellow mentors - Anodea Judith of Sacred Centers, Martha Collard of Red Doors, Ed Dailey of Young Living and Tara Stiles of Strala Yoga.

Ascend Yoga Therapy, a RYS - registered yoga school with Yoga Alliance was founded by Suraya - a Young Living Singapore Yoga Advocate, a certified E-RYT and YACEP with over 21,000 hours of teaching experience to help and guide one to understand the sacred science of yoga through the Chakra system.
