In this 2 part course, students will have the opportunity to learn how to shoot the sunset on location, as well as receiving feedback and sharing images with their peers.
On Saturday, November 4th class will meet at Golden Gardens Park at 5pm (consider arriving 5-10 min early to set up and find parking & group). As a class we will go over important settings ands tips to prepare our cameras for the sunset. Together, students will shoot the setting sun with hands on practice and real time techniques on capturing the best image possible. Our session will end at 6:30pm.
Some of the tools and techniques we will discuss will include white balance, composition, metering modes, HDR and creativity. Students should have a good working knowledge of their camera, but all skill levels are welcome.
Necessary tools for class include tripods. Please contact Glazers ahead of time if you need to borrow a tripod or would like to try a new lens.
This class has the potential to be post poned due to weather.
The following Sunday, November 5th we will meet back in the Glazers Camera Classroom (811 Republican St.) from 5pm to 6:30pm to review everyones best images. By sharing photos with each other, students will be able to see what others unique perspectives were, as well as offering a second opportunity to learn about different settings and skills.
