Celebrating 50 Years of Freedom

April 23, Friday Night Robert Dome Mixer: Take Human Action with Pete Quinones, Scott Horton, Angela McArdle, Dan Driscoll ($50)

April 24, Saturday: Business (always free) with lunch speaker Apollo Pazell

April 24, Saturday Night: Free the People with Matt Kibbe ($50)

April 25, Sunday: Legacy of Liberty with Judge Jim Gray + Dr. Mary Ruwart ($50)

Friday and Saturday VIP tickets are available for intimate gatherings with the speakers, for $150. Lunch and dinner sold separately: Tickets for each event and meal are sold a la carte to allow maximum choice and flexibility in attendance and pricing. Continental breakfasts Saturday and Sunday are included in ticket costs.

Remote participation is planned; more details to come.

Scott Horton

Scott Horton is director of the Libertarian Institute, editorial director of Antiwar.com, host of Antiwar Radio on Pacifica, 90.7 FM KPFK in Los Angeles, California and podcasts the Scott Horton Show from ScottHorton.org. He’s the author of the 2021 book Enough Already: Time to End the War on Terrorism, the 2017 book, Fool’s Errand:Time to End the War in Afghanistan and editor of the 2019 book The Great Ron Paul: The Scott Horton Show Interviews 2004–2019. He’s conducted more than 5,000 interviews since 2003.

Pete Quinones

Peter R. Quinones is managing editor of the Libertarian Institute and hosts the Free Man Beyond the Wall podcast. He released his first book, Freedom Through Memedom – The 31-day Guide to Waking Up to Liberty in November 2017. It reached #4 in the Libertarian Section on Amazon. He has spoken at Liberty Forum in Manchester, New Hampshire and has another book in the works.

Angela McArdle

Working in debt litigation and eviction defense for many years, Angela saw how our justice system is not just broken but designed to fail. She currently serves as Chair of the Libertarian Party of Los Angeles County, and is a two time candidate for California’s 34th Congressional District.

Dan Driscoll

Dan owns Oysterville Sea Farms in Pacific County, Washington, where he spent years fighting the county on land use and licensing -- and won! Dan very nearly won his race in 2020 for Pacific County Board of Commissioners, running as a Libertarian.

Apollo Pazell

Apollo is a political consultant working nationwide as an advocate for individual liberty and sustainable innovation. With more than a decade of experience in legislation and very successful campaigns at all levels, he travels the country training Libertarian candidates on effective campaigning.

Matt Kibbe

Matt Kibbe is a leading advocate for personal, civil and economic liberties. An economist by training, Kibbe is a well-respected public policy expert, bestselling author and political commentator. He is currently the President and Chief Community Organizer of Free the People.

Dr. Mary Ruwart (remote)

Dr. Mary J. Ruwart is a research scientist, ethicist, and a libertarian author/activist. Her radical application of ethics to medical regulation, especially regulations regarding pharmaceuticals, has life-and-death-implications.

Since 1982, Dr. Ruwart has also been involved in societal ethics with a focus on the political theory and practice of libertarianism. Her award-winning international best-selling book, Healing Our World, demonstrates how the ethical application of libertarian principles has historically created harmony and abundance.

Currently, Dr. Ruwart serves as Chair of Liberty International and Secretary of the Foundation for a Free Society. She has been an At-Large member of the Libertarian National Committee , served on the Board of both the Heartland Institute (Michigan Chapter) and the Fully Informed Jury Amendment Association.

Judge Jim Gray (remote)

After a career that included presiding over the Superior Court of Orange County, California, Judge Jim Gray was the LP's 2004 candidate in California for U.S. Senate and our VP candidate in 2012. He is an outspoken critic of American drug laws and the author of multiple books including Why Our Drug Laws Fail.
