Gold Award Ceremony 2014
Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (EST)
The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can earn. Each candidate must complete a Gold Award Take Action Project demonstrating her ability to lead and resolve community issues in a meaningful way. Each project can take years to complete and must total 80 hours or more of project work by the candidate.
Celebrate Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta's 2014 Gold Award Recipients and honor the 2014 Council Young Women of Distinction as they receive Girl Scouts' Highest Honor at The Fabulous Fox Theatre Egyptian Ballroom.
Please either print out your ticket or have it open on your smart phone when you arrive to the theatre for check in.
If you have guests who need wheelchair or other accessible seating, who need a sign language interpreter, or a large print or braille program, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gold Award Yearbooks, highlighting all the recipients’ accomplishments and projects, are also available for $10 each. This is a great memento even if unable to attend the event.
At Girl Scouts, our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
