Event description

Description

Going to See Culture Together is a relaxed monthly outing to a cultural venue, led by Jonathan Quarterman. In August the group will visit The West Pier Trust, who are responsible for the remains of the historic and much-loved pier and the administration of the site. We will learn more about the trust, it’s activities and our local history, supported by a talk from seasoned tour-leader, Jackie Marsh-Hobbs.

The group will meet Jonathan at 1.45pm at the i360, outside the street-level entrance.

So we can entertain a larger number of people, we invite you to donate no more than £3 to the event. Refreshments provided.

This event is part of Fabrica’s heritage project, Past:Present:Future which celebrates the 200 year story of our building and our local history during this time.

This event is FREE but places are limited so we recommend that you reserve yours in advance. Donations welcome: add a donation ticket on top of your existing ticket(s) or follow this link to become a member.

You can also reserve a place by talking to a member of the gallery team during gallery opening hours or by calling the Fabrica office on 01273 778646.

Online bookings will close 1 hour before the event starts - unless ‘Sold Out’ there is likely to still be tickets available on the door.
