Event description

Description

In autumn, there is evidence that an important shift is underway as nature prepares for darkening days and cooler temperatures. In response, nature migrates, hunkers down, scurries around or slows down. There is much the natural world can teach us about how we might deal with our own dark and cool days, whether literal or figurative.

Join us for this opportunity to deepen our inquiry into the wisdom nature offers us in autumn. As we walk slowly through the woods, we will look together for evidence of autumn's bounty. We will explore how the natural world offers space for spiritual sustenance and Presence, and can be a place that can provide quiet reflection, stillness, wisdom and healing. And we will take some solo time during which we can be alone with our thoughts and feelings.

Parking is limited, so please plan, if possible, to carpool or walk from Clifton Presbyterian. (More information will be provided on transporation the week of the event.)

We will be walking about a mile and a half along mostly well-maintained dirt trails. There is one moderately steep incline at the end.
