What if I change my mind and decide I want to join in the activities?
Spaces for activities have limited places so best to book in advance to secure your place. If you decide on arrival you would like to join in on the activities, then please let us know straight away and if a place is available you will be able to pay cash.

Can I bring my dog?
Well behaved and friendly dogs are welcome, but due to free roaming livestock, dogs need to remain on a lead at all times.

What if it rains?
Classes and activities take place under marquees and shelter so the rain will not affect these sessions. We would advise you to pack wellies and waterproofs to be prepared for any rainy weather.

If never mediated before, does that matter?
Our meditation teacher is great and will guide you through the mediation class, so no previous experience or skills are required.

I have never done yoga or the other activities before, does that matter?
All teachers are very experienced and skilled teachers and have adapted the classes to suit all levels including beginners.

Are there toilets and showers?
A porta-loo is available in the camping area as well as a compost loo, a toilet and shower is also available by the main house. For the full camping retreat experience, we also have shower bags for people to use in the woods in a private area.

What is the food menu?
For those who have paid for catering a suggested menu will be sent out with your final details one week before the event, please note that menu is subject to change as all food is fresh and sourced locally. Tea, Coffee and Water is available at all times, but please do bring your own snacks, it is also suggested if you have any dietary requirements or food allergies to also bring your own food.

I want to bring my food; how can I cook it?
You are welcome to bring your own food and your own camping stoves, we also have some stoves that you can borrow and we just ask that you are responsible at all times with open flames.

I have food allergies / dietary needs?
We would recommend you to bring your own food for the weekend as we are unable to cater for any specific dietary or allergy requirements.

Can I bring a campervan or caravan?
Campers and caravans are welcome but please note that we do not have any electric hook ups, and there is no hard standing.

What is there to do in my own time?
If you are not attending the activity and class sessions, you will have time to visit Tavistock which has a lovely pannier market on a Saturday there are also lots of beautiful walks from our back door- as we are in the Dartmoor National Park!

Everything will have been paid for upfront so there will be no additional costs, we do have a small shop on site that sells supplies and essentials like ice cream, and we also have a small gift shop.
