GRASSHATS

Cris & The Grasshats are an indie rock and roll band from Suwanee Georgia, with influences by bands like the Beatles, The Eagles, Oasis and more.

In November 2017, Cris Gonzalez wrote, produced and recorded his first album called 233B with the help of his Dad, Alex Gonzalez. Alex Gonzalez played some of the guitar solos on songs such as MOMENTS, THE RIVER MAN, A PERFECT WORLD, OCTOBER TOWN, THE BALLAD OF SAM WRIGHT, PICTURE FRAMES, AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO ME. Cris Gonzalez, wrote all the lyrics, melodies, song arrangements and played all the instruments on this album.

In January 2018, 233B was released and a live band was formed to take the road and promote the album. The band was called "GRASSHATS" and is comprised by Corey Lawson on drums, Nick Pedersen on Bass and Alex Gonzalez on Lead Guitar, and Cris Gonzalez on lead vocals and rhythm guitar.

In May 2018, Cris & The Grasshats recorded a new single as a band called DON'T THINK ABOUT IT. Which is available now everywhere.

VILLAGE STICKS

Village Sticks is an Indie/ Alternative Rock band from Funky Augusta, Ga. The band is made up of Ethan Balducci (rhythm guitar/ lead vocals), Zach Hebert (lead guitar/ vocals), Ethan Stallings (bass guitar/ vocals), and Andrew Fowler (drums/ vocals). Their music is influenced by many of their favorite bands such as Hippo Campus, Young the Giant, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Mac Demarco, Manchester Orchestra to name a few. The Village Sticks sound is a blend of exciting guitar melodies, engaging vocals, and a killer rhythm section between the bass guitar and drums that compliments the music and leaves you wanting more!

This past year the Village Sticks band was so excited to have the opportunity to self-fund, record, and release their debut EP album titled ‘Spirits’ recorded in their hometown of Augusta, Ga at Pulse Recording Studios. The album is currently available on all online streaming platforms as well as hard copy CDs coming soon. Village Sticks is currently hard at work sharing the fresh tunes with the world as well as working on a full-length album for everyone to enjoy!

The Village Sticks journey to present day is simply four brothers brought together by fate, destined to create the music they love to share with the world. The band was born in the summer of 2016 formed by high-school friends Andrew Fowler (drums/ vocals), Zach Hebert (guitar/ vocals), and Luke Freed (bass guitar). Over the past two years Village Sticks has morphed into many different shapes and sizes including Steven Milligan (vocals), Luke Freed, Paul Harmon, and Kevin Meredith (bass guitar), David Diaz (violin/ vocals), and Kevin Hatfield (synth/keys). Not until early summer of 2017 did the band finally click with the addition of Ethan Stallings (bass guitar/ vocals) as the missing piece to the puzzle. Stallings was introduced by a friend of the band at local show. Village Sticks was between bass players at the time and asked Stallings to learn some songs and practice with them. After just a few practices the band asked Stallings to fill in at an out of town music festival in Alabama where he really solidified his position in the band with his energy and undeniable talent.

Village Sticks has had a great run so far, fueled by their love of music and the amazing support of their family, friends, and Augusta music scene. The band has had many memorable performances such as last year’s performance at the 2017 ‘Arts in the Heart’ Festival, one of Augusta’s best-known annual Arts Festivals. The band had their radio debut this past 2017 on the ‘There it is’ local radio show hosted by Deke Copenhaver, former Augusta Mayor, where they performed an acoustic version of the debut Village Sticks single ‘Alone’. Village Sticks has also had the pleasure of performing with many talented bands such as Trash Panda, Casey Donahew Band, Funk You, Bethany and the Southside Boys, Hedonistas, Universal Sigh, and The Brown Goose to name a few.

The Village Sticks band is eager to continue their musical journey making music and good vibes for everyone to enjoy as well as connecting with tons of awesome people through band social media and live shows!
