Melissa Crouse (Saturday):
Melissa began taking regular yoga classes in 2011. After the first class, she was hooked. While she primarily attended all levels and power classes, she found yoga provided a calm to her mind/body that no other exercise had been able to do. In 2015, Melissa moved to Ohio and found Namaste Yoga Studio. She instantly felt at home and has been practicing at the studio ever since. She is a 2022 graduate of the Namaste 200 hour teacher training program studying under Jolynn McFerren and Cyndy Edwards. As a physical therapist, Melissa believes caring for your body and mind using proper alignment, breath work, and functional movement is key to healthy aging. She creates thoughtful flows to strengthen the physical body and calm the nervous system. In addition to her regular Vinyasa flow studio class, Melissa also teaches goat yoga. She loves the addition of animals bringing a fun element into the yoga experience. She owns goats and teaches at several farms.
Mica Pflug (Sunday):
Mica received her 200hr yoga certification from One Love Yoga in Kent, OH in Dec. of 2022. She enjoys self-study through practicing vinyasa yoga and breath-work, and challenges herself to find strength in holding poses throughout each flow. Her Slow Flow and Basics Yoga classes taught in Aurora offer stretching poses, meditation and mindfulness, and promote overall well-being. Mica is certified in Aerial Yoga and Chair Yoga, and received her BBA in Entrepreneurship from Kent State University in 2021. She looks forward to developing her personal practice and schedule of class offerings to her community. Thank you for joining her for Goat Yoga this spring at Keleman Point Farm!
